Workshops
Sustainable Bolivia (SB) ensures our community is constantly learning, sharing ideas, skills, information, and inspiring one another. Regular workshops and lectures or charlas on a variety of topics are offered to the community, which are delivered by our network of partner organizations, activists, scholars, SB staff and volunteers.
Volunteers have the opportunity to develop their public speaking and facilitation skills delivering workshops and talks to their peers. Additionally SB welcomes requests for specific topics the community would like to learn about.
Past workshops and lectures have included: Fundraising, Grant-Writing, Bokashi composting, Sustainability in Development, The Refugees Crisis, Bolivian History, Quechua Language, Indigenous Rights, Herbal Medicine, The Water Wars, Environmental Activism, Salteña Making, HIV/AIDS in Bolivia, K’oa Ceremonies, Bamboo Architecture and Eco-Design, Bolivian Traditional Dance, Permaculture, Urban Gardening and more.
