Education & Youth Development
Sustainable Bolivia supports local and international volunteers interested in making a lasting and sustainable impact in two rural communities. We work hard to arrange a mutually beneficial volunteer experience.
As a volunteer, you have an important role to play in the two rural communities next to the Aquicuana Reserve: Warnes and San José. Whatever your age, skills, experience or level of Spanish, you can make a positive contribution to the lives of children and teenagers. We welcome all volunteers with enthusiasm and commitment towards the project you are going to work on.
The volunteer positions available in education and youth development are the following:
- Environmental Educator
- English Teacher
- Sports Coach
- Tutor / Afterschool support
Volunteers work together with the community and the school’s teachers: you can share ideas, come up with educational activities and projects, while being involved in the daily activities with the children and teenagers. All volunteers are expected to plan and implement their lessons independently in coordination with Sustainable Bolivia’s staff.
