How to get there?

Located just a few kilometers from the town of Riberalta, it easy to get to the reserve. The easiest is to schedule a few days in advance your trip into the reserve and to contact us if you plan to visit it so that the communities can be ready for you.

The reserve is accessible by taxi or moto taxi in about 30min during the dry season (April to October) and 1h to 1h30 during the rainy season (November to March).

How to get to Riberalta?

Bus: By bus the journey can take a lot of time especially during the rainy season. Nevertheless the trip is feasible from different cities like La Paz, Cochabamba, or Santa Cruz. The trip costs about 180 Bs ($ 50) from La Paz or Santa Cruz and can last about 30h in the dry season. Even if the trip is long it is also a way to enjoy an authentic Bolivian experience and enjoy the different landscapes offered by Bolivia.

Plane: Riberalta is accessible more easily by airways. There are many daily connections between the big cities of Bolivia thanks to Ecojet and Amaszonas which are the two companies that serve the city. For a flight from La Paz it costs on average 900 Bs (130$) with Ecojet and 700 Bs (100$) with Amazsonas, but with a change at Santa Cruz for the latter. From Cochabamba it costs about 750 Bs (110$) with Ecojet and with Amazonas around 700 Bs (100$).
